Walking into the ballroom of Hempstead Hall, it's hard not to feel like you're in an old English castle or an overgrown and secret garden. To bring that feeling inside, we wrapped the room in vines, flowers, and flickering candlelight. One of my favorite palettes of taupes, mauves and pops of plum were the perfect contrast to the antique bridesmaid dress colors and the soft interior of the Hall. Tanya + Jung, who were both architects, build their own backdrop for the wedding ceremony - and decorating it with foraged clematis vines and flowers to match the beautiful background of the gardens. The perfect end of summer and start of fall vibes for such a lovely couple.
