. THE 50 PERSON WEDDING .

Love in the Time of Coronavirus

small wedding, micro wedding, tiny wedding, postponed wedding, covid wedding coronavirus wedding, mini wedding, microwedding, miniwedding, tiny wedding, 10 person wedding, 20 person wedding, 30 person wedding, 40 person wedding, 50 person wedding, elope, elopement, under 100 person wedding, city hall wedding, courthouse wedding, go down to city hall, the future of weddings,

We understand that Covid-19 has affected the way that many of our couples will be celebrating their wedding. Now, many couples are considering smaller weddings to keep their events under 50 people. To all of those who are choosing to marry during this time, we're here for you! It may be different than the wedding you imagined when you first got engaged, but it doesn't mean it can't be as full of joy, love, and memories.

At Wild, we know our way around a small wedding, and we're here to help you transform your day into one that feels intimate and romantic, like an elopement with all of your favorite people, or a personal party for 50 of your nearest and dearest.
There can also be many benefits of a smaller event. In the past, some of our couples have said that hosting a 'tiny wedding' allowed them to stick to their budget much more easily, while others have told us they were able to afford more of their wish list items that really made the day feel special and unique.
While you may still need some of the same items for a smaller fête (bouquets and boutonnieres for instance), one big benefit of an intimate wedding is the simple equation below:
less guests = less tables = less centerpieces = a smaller budget

If you've always dreamed of hanging installations, flowers walls, or a totally  over the top chuppah, when your guest count shrinks from 200 to 50, these things become even easier to fit into your budget.

Besides a having a miniwedding, there are other ways to celebrate that we've been talking about with our couples including:

Have smaller groups of guests attend your wedding at different times, allowing for cleaning and disinfecting between the groups. You probably anticipated this already, with older family members or those with small children leaving earlier than your younger friends - so lean into it! Schedule different groups throughout the day and even consider having a virtual element, so those who want to participate in all aspects of the day, can.

For some, the option to postpone isn't possible, so consider having a smaller ceremony or elopement on, or around your original date, and then another, larger celebration when the situation allows. For some, this opens up entirely new possibilities to have both the small, intimate ceremony AND the big party.
