The Knot and Wedding Wire's COR event was a celebratory event focused on education for wedding professionals and an opportunity to form community. Every aspect of the design was colorful and graphic from the iridescent sequin bars, the jewel tone seating, and the layered and textured stage design. We create florals that matched the bold and sculptural shapes with painted palm fronds that curved and arched, cascades of florals, pattered foliage, and architectural blooms. To keep with the playful and modern feeling, we colorblocked materials together and incorporated fun textures and unique flowers like lotus pods, anthurium leaves, orchids, date sprays, and hybrid gerbera daisies. The bright color palette had to be thoughtfully executed as to flow with all the other elements. We approached the design that day with a painterly touch to make sure each arrangement had the right elements of color, texture, shape, and scale.
