Tian and Joe were flower lovers and and had a list of spring blooms that were symbolic to their relationship and that they favored. They wanted their ceremony to feel like a lush, romantic garden from a painting and chose the beautiful backdrop of the Queen's Botanical Garden to inspire the mood. We created an arch of winding wisteria vines, peonies, garden roses, and local flowers in corals, blues, and pinks to serve as a beautiful frame for the couple to say their 'I dos'. Tian and Joe had so many special touches to their reception - including bubble tea for cocktail hour, dinner at a favorite Hot Pot restaurant, and a giant fortune cookie for their 'cake cutting'. To bring the garden into the restaurant, we transferred some of the elements from the ceremony and added springs of foliage to the menus. Photos : Sophie Kaye Photography
